Baton Rouge Police have arrested 26-year-old Jamie Gray of Baton Rouge after he allegedly shot a 15-year-old female in the face sometime around midnight on November 5th.
According to a report, officers were called to 3760 Clear Ct. reference to a possible shooting. Officers arrived and learned that Gray had allegedly shot the victim and fled the scene a short time prior to their arrival.
Officers located Gray in the area at which point he attempted to flee on foot. He was apprehended and taken into custody then transported back to the scene of the shooting. The weapon was recovered and a search revealed it to be stolen.
Investigators learned that Gray was at attempting to perform oral sex on the 15-year-old victim, but was unable to. The report did not indicate any further details of the sexual encounter. Gray then allegedly shot the victim in the face and fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital. There is no word on her condition.
Gray was charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder, Attempted Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile, Possession of a Firearm, Resisting an Officer and Obstruction of Justice.
He was transported to EBR Parish Prison.
