Baton Rouge Police have announced a 3rd arrest in connection with the shooting death of Jody Arcediano which occurred on September 1st.
Peter Hinkle, 40, Ethel, LA, was taken into custody yesterday thanks to a Crime Stoppers tip. The Louisiana State Police Task Force played a vital role in the arrest. Hinkle is accused of robbing and shooting Arcediano.
Baton Rouge Police also arrested Brandy Verrett, 37 and Rachael Day, 29, both of Denham Springs, on September 5th in for the murder. They are accused of setting Arcediano up to be robbed.
Verrett and Day are each being held on a $600,000.00 bond at this time.
Arcediano was found deceased at a hotel located at 10311 Plaza Americana on September 1, 2019, around 11:14 am. He had died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Hinkle was charged with Armed Robbery and First Degree Murder. He is being held at the EBR Parish Prison at this time.
